FACTS ABOUT FRUIT FLIES
Fruit flies hatch, eat, breed, lay eggs and
die within a 7 to 10 days.
A female fruit fly will lay about 500 eggs
during her short life.
In RESTAURANTS and other EATERIES, she will lay her eggs on the surface of fermenting food,
beer, wine, liquor, and other moist organic materials. Beer taps, drains, garbage disposals, empty bottles and
cans, trash containers, mops and cleaning rags also provide ideal nurseries for baby fruit flies. Infestations can originate from a variety of sources including the fresh produce delivered to your business. They also fly in from the outside through open door and windows.
Use Bugzilla as a regular part of your
nightly clean up routine.
Spray Bugzilla wherever fruit flies congregate and locate all likely breeding areas. Clean up as much as possible then spray them with Bugzilla. Spray it and leave it.
